Notes and Rules for Human Chess Game

Your opponent cannot play any cards if you do not play any cards. They can, however, activate abilities as long as they don’t play any cards (activating a Character’s special ability, Actions to draw cards, etc.).
(2001-11-28)
Your opponent may play a card the turn after you play this Adventure since you played a card your last turn.

Solving this with Draco’s Trick means you get the reward. So you would draw 3 cards.
(2001-01-01)
You cannot put a card from your deck, hand, discard pile, or anywhere and put it into play, as that is still "playing a card".
